In response to recent feedback regarding communications during significant operational and technical incidents, ASX is reviewing the notification and update mechanisms relating to such incidents.

As a first step ASX is conducting a review of its contact databases used for both ASX Trade and Trade24 markets. This review will be extended to post trade services in the near future.

As an outcome of this review ASX will now maintain group email addresses and will be moving away from using individual email addresses. This is to enable customers to manage and maintain the distribution within their firms, ensuring all relevant individuals are notified. To facilitate this ASX is requiring that customers review their ASX specific distribution groups to ensure all relevant contacts have been included.

Over the coming fortnight ASX will be contacting all existing registered email users with further instructions.

Please note that the transition to group emails will occur on 17th March 2017 and ASX will cease sending to individual email addresses from this date.

As a second stage in improving communications, ASX is in the process of developing a real time webpage which will be the primary channel and source of information during such incidents. This will replace the current system status page. More details on this will be provided in the near future

What do I need to do by when?
