ASX New Zealand Electricity Futures – Change to Final settlement price for October 19 Base Benmore and Otahuhu futures contracts.

Participants are advised that the pricing vendor for NZ Electricity has advised the final prices for the EDV19 and EHV19 contracts that were published on the 5th of November 2019 were interim prices. They were published as:

EDV19:   128.40

EHV19:   118.86

As a result, the final settlement prices used to expire these contracts was the incorrect interim prices.

The correct Final Settlement Prices for these contracts are:

EDV19:   128.13

EHV19:   118.68

ASX will pass manual cash adjustments for the difference between the prices used to settle the open positions on the 5th November 2019, and the corrected prices above.

What do I need to do by when?

Affected participants will be contacted via email with details of the adjustments to their accounts.
