Under Rule 5.18 of the ASX Settlement Operating Rules, issuers may request that ASX place a “FOR” tag on a class of their securities where those securities are subject to any aggregate foreign ownership restrictions. If a security is subject to a FOR tag, Participants may identify whether a holder is permitted to hold those securities based on their Residency Indicator.

The list of financial products subject to a FOR tag (and therefore considered “FOR Financial Products”) is called the “Schedule 1 FOR Financial Products” list and is published by ASX Settlement on the ASX Online website (https://www.asxonline.com/) and is updated as required from time to time. [1]  

Removal of certain classes of financial products from the list

Issuers and Participants are advised that ASX Settlement is exercising its discretion under ASX Settlement Operating Rule 5.18.9(b) to remove certain classes of financial products from the list of financial products included in Schedule 1 as “FOR Financial Products”.

ASX Settlement will remove the following classes of financial products from the list with effect from Wednesday, 19 November 2025.

The purpose of the removal of the above classes of financial products is to remove entries that are no longer relevant or required for the following reasons:

• the class of financial products is no longer available due to the completion of the relevant placement or entitlement offer; or
• the issuer of the financial products is no longer listed on ASX.
