ASX has published a consultation paper seeking feedback on proposed functionality enhancements for the new ASX 24 MX derivatives trading platform. This document is intended for Participants using the ASX 24 system, as well as their system vendors, industry groups, and other stakeholders involved in derivatives trading.
Background
ASX has commenced the replacement of its ASX 24 derivatives trading platform as part of a broader strategic investment in resilient, contemporary market infrastructure. The new platform is expected to deliver material improvements across order management, market data, risk management and operational resilience. This consultation relates to the functionality enhancements ASX proposes to implement from Day 1 of the new platform.
Consultation paper
The consultation paper outlines the current functionality and the proposed uplifts. Each proposal is representative of feedback ASX has received in prior periods and seeks additional feedback and/or confirmation on functionality enhancements across Interest Rate, Equity Derivatives and Energy derivatives.
