Update on Target Production Go-live Date

Further to Market Notice 1107.26.09, ASX is now targeting a go-live date of Monday 23 November 2026 for the Short-Dated Index Options (XJD), subject to final internal approvals, regulatory approval and industry readiness.

Update on Industry Wide Testing – CDE+

Participants and vendors are advised that external testing in the Customer Development Environment (CDE+) for the Short-Dated Index Options (XJD), previously scheduled to conclude on 16 October 2026, will be extended until 6 November 2026.

Tailor-Made Combinations (TMCs)

ASX will be enabling Tailor-Made Combinations (TMCs) between existing XJO options and the new XJD options from go-live.

A further market notice will be published with additional details on these TMCs, including when they will be available for testing in CDE+.

Fee Waiver

Further to Market Notice 0771.26.07, ASX is adjusting the fee waiver period in line with the updated target go-live date. The fee waiver will now apply from 23 November 2026 until 26 February 2027.

The terms of the fee waiver are unchanged, and it will continue to apply to registration fees only.

What do I need to do by when?
