This Notice is to inform ASX customers of changes to the ASX Benchmark license fees and naming, and the addition of a new product, effective 1 January 2027. The headline changes are as follows:
- BBSW single country licence fee – $564* to $600 per month;
- “BBSW redistribution licences” renamed as “Benchmarks redistribution licences”;
- Introduction of SOFIA® (Secured Overnight Funding Index Australia), which is calculated from eligible overnight repo transactions settled through Austraclear on the prior business day and measures the cost of overnight funding secured against high-quality Australian dollar-denominated government securities; and
- SOFIA® single country licence fee – $600 per month, with an introductory licence fee of $300 per month for calendar year 2027.
