ALC Customers are reminded that ASX will be commence scheduled 5 yearly maintenance on the Diesel Rotary Un-interruptible Power Supply (DRUPS) systems from Friday 12 August 2016.

The maintenance will be performed on a single DRUPS at a time, starting with DRUPS C, and will require the system to be placed into maintenance bypass mode for the duration of the work.

This work is scheduled to commence at 6am on Friday 12 August 2016 and be completed by 6pm on Monday 15 August 2016 (all times AEST). 

Additional maintenance will also be performed on Thursday 11 August 2016 commencing from 6pm and is scheduled to be completed by 8:30pm. This work is to prepare the supporting switchboard infrastructure ahead of the formal DRUPS maintenance and will require DRUPS C to be running on the diesel engine for the duration. DRUPS C will revert to normal operation mode following the completion of this work and ahead of the 6am start for the 5 yearly maintenance on Friday 12 August 2016.

Please note that this additional work will be done outside business hours ahead of the 5 yearly maintenance for DRUPS B (planned for September 2016) and A (planned for October 2016).  For additional information regarding the planned maintenance for DRUPS B and A, please refer to ASX Notice 0376.16.04.

ASX will be working closely with its service engineers for the duration of this maintenance. ALC access and other ASX services will continue as per normal procedures over the course of this work.

What do I need to do by when?

ASX will be communicating the status of this maintenance to customers utilising the individual DRUPS being worked on.

Customers who have not already done so, are asked to provide contact details for this maintenance by completing the attached ALC DRUPS Customer Contact Details form and returning it to ASX Customer Technical Support (CTS) at cts@asx.com.au as soon as possible.
