As part of ASX’s ongoing commitment to delivering reliable, resilient, and secure connectivity for our Technical Services customers, we will be upgrading trading access switches across all ASX Net customer sites. This upgrade supports future scalability and improved operational efficiency, ensuring robust connectivity to ASX Trade (Equities) and ASX 24 (Futures) trading applications.
Upgrade Timeline & Process
The upgrade programme will commence in November 2025 and continue progressively over 18 months. Customers will be contacted directly by the ASX upgrade team to coordinate site access. An ASX engineer will visit each site to replace the existing switches on a swap-out basis.
Please note:
No configuration changes are required.
IP addresses and TCP ports for ASX Trade and ASX 24 Gateways will remain unchanged.
Customers will be required to perform connectivity testing on the day of the migration.
Await direct contact from ASX to schedule your upgrade.
Ensure availability for weekend site access to minimise disruption.
Coordinate with ASX technical staff to complete connectivity testing post-upgrade.
ASX network testing and support personnel will be available to assist throughout the upgrade process.
